About the Role

I am currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on behalf of a client who is looking to strengthen their finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and analysis to support key business decisions and drive overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with budget holders and senior stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support business decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring assumptions are robust and aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast and prior periods, providing clear explanations of variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Produce accurate and insightful management information, financial reports and performance analysis.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities, supporting the business in maximising performance and achieving financial targets.
• Support the development of business cases, investment appraisals and financial modelling for key projects and initiatives.
• Challenge existing processes and ways of working to drive continuous improvement, cost efficiency and value creation.
• Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams, promoting financial awareness and accountability.
• Support month-end reporting and other core finance activities as required.

About You

You will ideally have:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent),
• Experience in a finance business partnering, management accounting or commercial finance role.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate key insights clearly.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence constructively.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience using financial systems and reporting tools.
