Package: £34,000 a year, including basic salary and tips

Driving: A car and full driving licence are essential

A popular, independently owned gastro pub is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join its established kitchen brigade.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of talented chefs, preparing quality dishes with fresh ingredients for a venue known for its food across Suffolk. The pub keeps its menus current with food trends and gives the kitchen team room to contribute ideas and develop dishes.
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility for the preparation and smooth running of your section
- Cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
- Contribute ideas to menu development
- Help maintain the pub’s reputation for excellent food
About you
- You have experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-led kitchen
- You’re confident managing your own section and keeping service on track
- You’re receptive to direction and communicate well with colleagues
- You’re keen to develop your skills and progress your career
- Rosette-level experience would be an advantage
- You have a car and full driving licence. The pub is in a village 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, so driving is essential.
