AWS AgentCore Architect
6-Month contract - Inside IR35 - market rate
London based - hybrid working - 3 days a week onsite
Banking sector
We are looking for a Senior AWS AgentCore Architect to join on a contract basis and provide experienced architectural leadership for the build-out of an agentic AI platform.
You need to be a genuinely senior, hands-on architect who can take ownership quickly and provide technical direction rather than someone who has only worked around GenAI at a high level.
What we need
Must have
- Strong AWS architecture background
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI / AI agent platforms on AWS
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore / Bedrock ecosystem
- Able to define architecture and technical patterns for enterprise-grade agentic solutions
- Strong understanding of LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, integration and security
- Senior enough to provide architectural leadership but still comfortable being hands-on
- Comfortable stepping into an existing programme and taking ownership quickly
Highly desirable
- Retail or Commercial Banking experience
- Experience delivering GenAI/agentic platforms within a regulated enterprise
- Understanding of governance, security, observability and controls around enterprise AI
