About the role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (Level 3)/MOT Tester to join a well-established company.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £37,000 (To be discussed at interview)
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis
Location: Gillingham, ME8
About The Company:
The Company is a family-run business with a friendly team of five in the workshop. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician with MOT Tester qualifications to join their team.
The Role:
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles
- MOT testing desirable but not essential (if your certificate has expired, we will still consider you—please state this on your CV)
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- MOT Tester (certificate)
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical)
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply—you don’t need extensive experience, but you must hold the required qualifications.
