Key Duties

  • Developing and delivering lesson plans tailored to students of all SEN needs.
  • Behaviour Support: Support positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Personalised Learning: Work collaboratively with other SEN Teacher staff and SENCO to implement EHCPs and monitor student progress.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with fellow SEN Teacher staff, parents, and external professionals regarding student progress and support needs.

 

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to support student learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
