Key Duties
- Developing and delivering lesson plans tailored to students of all SEN needs.
- Behaviour Support: Support positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Personalised Learning: Work collaboratively with other SEN Teacher staff and SENCO to implement EHCPs and monitor student progress.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with fellow SEN Teacher staff, parents, and external professionals regarding student progress and support needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to support student learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
