Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in East London? Principal Education are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school that is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team, with full and part-time opportunities available to start ASAP. Job Responsibilities
- Support teachers with the delivery of effective lessons
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
- Assist pupils with their learning, development and classroom activities while encouraging independence
- Support positive behaviour management and contribute to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials in line with lesson objectives
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff to support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
