ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Private Patient Administrator to join our team. As a Private Patient Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for our private patients throughout every stage of their journey, from their initial enquiry through to the completion of their treatment and ongoing care. Acting as a dedicated point of contact, you will provide a personalised service built on professionalism, compassion and attention to detail, ensuring patients feel informed, supported and valued at every interaction.
The Private Patient Administrator will provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service, coordinating patient pathways across all services, with particular responsibility for clinics and treatments requiring regular follow-up appointments, such as Valeda Light Therapy. Through effective patient management, you will help ensure the highest standards of patient care, service delivery and patient safety are consistently maintained.
Working closely with consultants, clinical teams and service management, you will support the coordination and monitoring of private patient clinics, ensuring appointments, reviews and treatments are scheduled and completed within clinically appropriate timescales. You will proactively manage patient pathways, helping to minimise delays and ensuring patients receive timely access to care.
The role requires the establishment and maintenance of effective administrative, office and information systems to support the smooth running of the service. You will contribute to the delivery of a responsive, patient-centred service by maintaining accurate records, managing correspondence and supporting the ongoing care of patients with both short-term and long-term ophthalmic conditions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, patient-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and supporting high-quality patient care within a growing private healthcare environment.
Our clinics are busy and fast-paced, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing a varied workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. As many patients may feel anxious about their treatment or surgery, you'll need to be compassionate, reassuring and confident in helping people feel informed, supported and at ease throughout their care journey. The successful candidate will combine excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to patient pathway management, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of service and timely access to care.

In return, we offer:
- Salary of £26,250 per annum, plus performance based bonus.
