Credit Controller

Healthy cash flow keeps a business moving. As our clients Credit Controller, you’ll make sure customers pay on time, keep bad debt low and protect the bottom line. You’ll look after a portfolio of clients across several of their international businesses. It’s a fast-moving role with a global reach, real deadlines and a direct impact on our results.

What you’ll do

• Chase and collect: Work the receivables ledger by phone, email and letter, making sure customers pay in line with our payment-before-delivery policy
• Go the extra mile: Flex your hours at busy periods, including working to international time zones, to get the money in
• Keep it on record: Log every customer conversation in the credit and collections system, so our client are covered if a query or legal action ever follows
• Solve problems fast: Resolve account queries quickly, before they turn into bad debts
• Stay responsive: Answer or route questions from colleagues and customers promptly
• Hit the road: Travel to other offices and overseas sites to collect debt face to face and build strong relationships

What you’ll bring

• At least one years experience in a finance department
• Experience of international payments (a big plus)
• Strong working knowledge of finance systems and confident Excel and Word skills
