Teaching Assistant - KS1

• Location: Hayes, London
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
• Salary: £20,500+ (commensurate with experience)
• Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hayes, part of a wider and supportive academy trust, are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team.

This is a fixed-term position for one academic year, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing classroom environment.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an individual with previous experience working within education, ideally within a primary school setting. The successful candidate will bring energy, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting both the teacher and pupils in the classroom.

Your role will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning in an upper KS1 classroom.
• Working one-to-one or with small groups of children to reinforce learning.
• Assisting in planning, preparation of resources, and classroom organisation.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils.
