Your new roleAre you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity in the heart of Bath? We are seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys working in a varied role and being part of a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices and allocating customer receipts
- Reconciling bank accounts and control accounts
- Assisting with credit control activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Handling finance-related queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- AAT studies or qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
