Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills? Do you enjoy solving technical problems and delivering excellent customer service?

Field Service Engineer

At phs Wastekit, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair our recycling equipment across customer sites. Working both reactively and on planned maintenance schedules, you'll play a key role in helping our customers keep their operations running efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing and maintaining balers, compactors and recycling equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Planning and managing your daily workload effectively.
- Working closely with service controllers and supervisors to deliver excellent customer service.
- Meeting service level agreements and performance targets.
- Taking ownership of engineering issues through to resolution.
- Occasional travel outside your region, including overnight stays when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using electrical and hydraulic testing equipment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- £41,500 basic salary with OTE of £45,000
