About the role
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Air Freight Import Clerk to join a highly regarded specialist Freight Forwarder based in Feltham.
Role will involve all aspects of arranging air freight imports including the following -
Plan and manage inbound shipments according to customers’ needs
Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import declarations, import CITES Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise
Support other members of the import team as needed to ensure smooth operations
Update shipping files
Liaise with airlines / airport handlers in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports
Must have at least 2 years experience working in Air Freight Imports and experience in processing customs entries on CDS is essential.
Mon - Fri 0900 -1800 hrs
Competitive salary, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
