Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)
£40,000-£45,000 DOE + Overtime + On-Site Parking + Days Based

Are you a Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer with industrial or plant experience, looking for a stable, days-based role with overtime available?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established waste recycling business that is continuing to grow, working as part of an experienced engineering team and playing a key role in keeping the plant running efficiently.
In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, fault-find and repair plant and machinery, and support the electrical and mechanical maintenance of the facility. You will work on equipment including conveyors, shredders and diesel forklifts, with additional overtime available.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar with an industrial, plant or heavy engineering background who holds their 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Electrical Maintenance qualification.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic plant
- Fault-find and repair equipment including conveyors, shredders and diesel forklifts
- Complete electrical maintenance and repairs across the site, ensuring equipment remains safe and operational
- Monday-Friday, 06:00-15:00, with emergency callouts and out-of-hours cover paid additionally
The Person
- Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar with an industrial/plant background
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2019 or above)
- Electrical Maintenance qualification/certificate
- Experience with Moba detection and timing cores; or relevant experience with similar plant/electrical systems
