Site Manager

Location: Swindon Rate: 300 per day (Freelance) Duration: Immediate start until early December Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project in Swindon, converting an existing factory into a laboratory facility. This is a freelance opportunity running through to the start of December. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades. Manage site health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Monitor progress against the programme and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate works associated with the conversion of an existing factory into a laboratory. Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed to the required specifications. Liaise with the client, project team and subcontractors to resolve any issues. Maintain site records, RAMS and relevant health and safety documentation. Requirements Previous experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment, conversion or fit-out projects. Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills. Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications. Good understanding of health and safety procedures and site documentation. Ability to manage a fast-paced project and drive progress through to completion. What's on Offer? 300 per day freelance rate. Immediate start. Work until the start of December.
