Warehouse Operative Location: Colchester, Essex Pay: GBP13.12 per hour Contract: Temporary Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.30pm We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a leading and established manufacturing company based in Colchester, Essex. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential long–term opportunities. This role plays an important part in the day–to–day operations of a busy logistics team and requires a hands–on, adaptable approach. Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative: Loading and unloading vehicles by handAccurately pick, pack and prepare customer ordersSupporting with admin duties including liasing with customers, using in–house computer systems and entering information into Excel.Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targetsFollowing all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment The ideal Warehouse Operative: Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experienceComfortable with manual handling tasks and being on your feet all dayAble to follow instructions and work independentlyComfortable using computer systemsFlexible and willing to learn and support different areas of the operationStrong written and verbal communication skills What's on Offer?
