£53,000 to £58,000 per annum plus Civil Service Pension
Permanent, Full-Time
At the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), we provide security in retirement for our members and millions of people throughout the UK who belong to defined benefit (DB) pension schemes. Through the PPF and Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), we compensate members for their pensions after the employer funding their pension becomes insolvent. In total, we look after over 400,000 members across the PPF and FAS. With over £30 billion in assets under management, our investments support long-term economic growth across the UK.
Our award-winning team of around 450 professionals has earned the IPE UK Pension Fund of the Year title three times in seven years. We work closely with government and industry partners to improve outcomes for scheme members, employers, and the broader pension system—playing a vital role in strengthening retirement security nationwide.
At the Pension Protection Fund, protecting the services that our members depend on is at the heart of what we do. As our Operational Resilience Manager, you'll play a key role in helping the PPF prepare for, respond to and recover from disruption, ensuring we can continue delivering critical services when they are needed most.
Working closely with the Senior Resilience & Continuity Manager, you'll help shape and strengthen our operational resilience and business continuity capabilities across the organisation. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, embedding resilience into everyday decision-making, influencing how we prepare for future challenges and helping to safeguard the services that support hundreds of thousands of members.
You'll work with colleagues across the business to identify vulnerabilities, enhance resilience arrangements, test our readiness and drive continuous improvement. From facilitating workshops and delivering training to supporting regulatory compliance and industry best practice, you'll be at the centre of building a resilient organisation that can adapt and thrive in an increasingly complex environment.
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent relationship-building and communication skills. You'll be confident interpreting complex information, identifying risks and translating your insights into practical, business-focused solutions. Just as importantly, you'll be able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, bringing people together to strengthen resilience across the PPF.
Whether your background is in operational resilience, business continuity or risk management, you'll bring experience of developing, implementing or maintaining resilience frameworks, ideally within a regulated environment. A relevant professional qualification, or a commitment to working towards one, would be advantageous.
If you're looking for a role where you can help shape organisational resilience, influence strategic decision-making and make a meaningful contribution to protecting the retirement security of our members, we'd love to hear from you.
