Description

• Oversee daily finance activities to keep records accurate and information available when needed.
• Manage financial reporting activities and provide clear updates for the Accounting & Finance department.
• Review financial data to identify issues and maintain the quality of reported information.
• Coordinate finance tasks across the department to keep work moving during the interim period.
• Maintain organised finance documentation so information can be accessed easily.
• Monitor deadlines and prioritise finance activity to support timely delivery.
• Work with relevant colleagues to resolve finance queries and improve the flow of information.

Profile

A successful 'Interim Finance Manager' should have:

• Experience managing day-to-day finance activities within an Accounting & Finance function.
• Strong financial reporting skills and the ability to present information clearly.
• Confidence reviewing financial data and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to organise competing finance tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling finance queries and resolving issues in a practical way.
• Ability to maintain clear documentation and support reliable finance processes.

Job Offer

• Temporary Interim Finance Manager contract.
• Daily rate of £203 to £248, dependent on the level of experience.
• Location: Reading.
