Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of children and families? Join our dynamic Assessment Team and play a vital role in conducting thorough assessments to ensure the safety and support of vulnerable children. We are currently recruiting for the position of Children's Social Worker within our Assessment Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, risks, and strengths of children and families.

2. Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with families, colleagues, and external agencies.

3. Ensure the safety and well-being of children through timely and thorough risk assessments.

4. Provide support and guidance to families, facilitating access to relevant services and resources.

5. Collaborate with professionals in multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and legal services.

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress.

7. Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
• Proven experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
• Strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Salary and Benefits:

• Up to £30.57 per hour
• £150 expenses
