The Role

As a Graduate Events Producer, you’ll help develop and deliver high-profile conferences and roundtables from initial research through to event delivery. You’ll investigate market trends, identify important topics and build relationships with senior industry stakeholders who can contribute their expertise. You’ll also create engaging event content and coordinate different stages of the production cycle. With structured training, support from experienced managers and exposure to a variety of sectors, you’ll develop strong research, communication, project management and commercial skills. You’ll have plenty of variety, responsibility and room to progress based on your performance.

  • Research market trends through desk-based and telephone research.
  • Identify emerging topics and develop innovative conference concepts.
  • Build relationships with senior industry stakeholders and prospective speakers.
  • Create engaging agendas, speaker biographies and event content.
  • Project manage conferences from initial concept through to delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations teams to deliver successful events.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • A 2:1 degree or above, or equivalent qualification, ideally in a relevant subject. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Curiosity, initiative and genuine interest in business and industry trends.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to an office environment through market research, sales, recruitment, client relations or events.
  • Previous experience in the conference or events industry.
