About the role
HGV Class 2 Driver
£15.50 per hr (minimum 8 hours gaurenteed)
Bagworth, Leicestershire
Monday to Friday | 06:30am start
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our transport team, delivering timber and building materials to customers across the local and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering goods safely, looking after their vehicle and providing a professional service to customers.
The Role- Deliver timber and building materials safely and on time.
- Load and secure goods correctly before each journey.
- Complete deliveries and collections as required.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
- Full Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience.
- Experience delivering timber or building materials is desirable but not essential.
- Safety-conscious with a good attitude to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling timber and building materials.
- Competitive salary.
