The Role As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key part in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is a varied position covering the full inspection cycle, from incoming goods through to final inspection. Duties will include: Visual and dimensional inspection of precision machined components. First–off, in–process and final inspection activities. Incoming goods inspection of raw materials and components prior to release to production. Dealing with NCRs and liaising with clients Working closely with machinists and production teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout manufacture. Operating manual inspection equipment and CMM machinery Completion of inspection reports and quality documentation. Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, drawings and quality standards. About You We are keen to hear from candidates with: Previous experience within a Quality Inspector position in a precision engineering or machining environment. Strong visual and dimensional inspection skills. Experience inspecting precision machined components. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience using standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges and gauges. CMM experience, ideally with Aberlink software, although training can be provided. A proactive approach and strong attention to detail. Salary Salary of GBP33,000 – GBP39,000 depending on experience. Permanent, full–time position. Dayshift working pattern.
