Employment Solicitor (Partner), 7+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £Highly Competitive (DOE) - We are currently working with a highly regarded UK law firm looking to strengthen its employment offering in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Employment Lawyer to join at Partner level, bringing their expertise, commercial vision and client relationships to a firm with the platform and ambition to support further growth. • Whether you’re an established Partner seeking a fresh challenge or a senior employment lawyer ready to take the next step, this opportunity offers the chance to develop your practice, expand your network and play a key role in shaping the future of the team.
• You will have the opportunity to develop your presence in Birmingham and the wider Midlands, working with a varied client base across a range of sectors.
• There is scope to build on existing relationships, bring new clients to the firm and collaborate with colleagues across other practice areas to generate opportunities and deliver a joined-up service.
• This is a role for someone who enjoys combining high-quality legal work with the commercial side of running a successful practice, and who wants to make a tangible contribution to the firm’s continued growth.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with 7+ years’ PQE who have the technical expertise, commercial awareness and ambition to succeed at Partner level.
• Strong experience across employment law, advising employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• The ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice on complex workplace issues and employment risks.
• Confidence in managing senior client relationships and developing a trusted adviser role with businesses and their leadership teams.
• A proactive approach to business development, with the ability to identify opportunities, generate new work and build lasting client relationships.
• A desire to establish and strengthen your profile in Birmingham and across the wider Midlands market.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work alongside colleagues across complementary practice areas to deliver value for clients.
