Assistant Accountant

KennethBrian Associates is partnering with an industry-leading client to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant for a permanent opportunity based in Fulham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to broaden their skill set, develop their month-end expertise and progress their career within a dynamic business environment.

Working closely with the finance team, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while gaining exposure to wider financial planning and reporting activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and processing sales invoices
• Managing purchase invoice processing and accounts payable activities
• Supporting the collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong credit control
• Assisting with month-end reporting and close processes
• Performing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Contributing to quarterly forecasts, long-term financial planning and board reporting

We’re keen to hear from finance professionals who are ready to build on their existing experience and take the next step in their career.

You’ll ideally have:

• A MAXIMUM of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• A strong background in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial processes
• A proactive mindset, with a genuine desire to learn, develop and take ownership of month-end responsibilities

• Salary up to £35,000
