Havant | £16-18 per hour + Free Parking + Subsidised Canteen | Full-Time, Office-Based | Temporary 6–8 Weeks
Are you a Payroll Administrator with at least 1 year’s payroll experience and a strong head for numbers? A well-established business in Havant is looking for a Payroll Administrator to provide additional support to its busy HR team. An increase in workload has created the need for temporary assistance over the next 6–8 weeks. This is a hands-on Payroll Administrator role suited to someone who is accurate, organised and comfortable working with high volumes of numerical information.
Support the preparation and processing of payroll information.
Check payroll data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Input and update employee payroll records.
Process changes relating to pay, deductions and employee information.
Respond to basic payroll queries from employees and colleagues.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll documentation.
Assist with payroll reconciliations and general administration.
Support the wider HR team during a particularly busy period.
Have at least 1 year’s payroll administration experience.
Demonstrate strong numerical and data-entry skills.
Maintain excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Be comfortable working with spreadsheets and payroll information.
Manage deadlines effectively within a busy environment.
Handle confidential employee information professionally.
