About the role
Would you consider yourself a fantastic Supply Chain Planner? Could you bring a fresh set of eyes and experience to a household food manufacturer?
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business looking to appoint a Supply Chain Planner to join their team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an organised and analytical individual to play a key role in materials planning, production scheduling and stock management within a fast-paced chilled and frozen manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan raw material and packaging requirements using ERP/MRP systems.
- Coordinate supplier deliveries and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Work closely with production, procurement and commercial teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support forecasting, stock management and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in supply chain, materials or production planning.
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong Excel skills and an analytical approach.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
