About the role
Gloucester
£15.40 – £16.87 per hour | Flexible Monday–Friday Work
Love working in Early Years but looking for more flexibility?
Maybe you're ready for a change from long nursery shifts, want more control over the days you work, or simply fancy experiencing different settings before deciding what's next.
Thrive Education is looking for Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our Early Years team, supporting nurseries and preschools across Gloucester.
Whether you want 1–2 days a week, full-time hours or something longer-term, we'll work around your availability and the type of setting you're looking for.
What you'll get- Level 2 – £15.40 per hour
- Level 3 – £16.87 per hour
- Choose the days you're available
- Monday–Friday opportunities
- Day-to-day, short-term and long-term work
- Opportunities across Gloucester and surrounding areas
- Experience different nurseries and preschools
- A dedicated Early Years consultant who gets to know what you're actually looking for
You'll need:
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
- Previous experience working with children within an Early Years setting
- A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach
- Confidence working as part of a nursery or preschool team
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one
Paediatric First Aid is desirable but not essential.
Never worked through an agency before? That's absolutely fine.
Supply doesn't have to mean working somewhere different every day. Some practitioners enjoy the flexibility of day-to-day work, while others prefer returning to the same setting or taking on a longer-term position.
You tell us what works for you.
There's no pressure to commit to five days a week either. If you're only available on certain days, we'd still love to hear from you.
Fancy seeing what's available?Applying doesn't mean you're committing to anything.
Send us your CV and we'll give you a call for an informal chat about what you're looking for, your availability and the Early Years opportunities we have around Gloucester.
Sometimes a change of setting is all you need to rediscover what you love about working in Early Years.
Apply today and let's have a chat.
