Our Safran Seats Graduate Programme Are you ready to drive purchasing excellence within a fast-moving aerospace environment?Safran Seats GB in Cwmbran is a global leader in aircraft seating, with over one million seats flying aboard the world’s major airlines. Our UK operations span three sites and employ over 1,300 highly skilled professionals, most of whom are based in South Wales. At our Cwmbrân site, we focus exclusively on premium First and Business Class seating, delivering a full-service solution from concept to end product: Product Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket Support. What will I be doing on this graduate programme? As a graduate strategic purchaser, you’ll join a dynamic team of 40 purchasing professionals that manages and controls over £100M annual spend relating to aircraft seating parts. You will have the opportunity to rotate within three functions within purchasing: Commodity Management: Learn how to negotiate and manage supplier contracts. Contributing to long term supplier strategies and cost reduction. Programme Purchasing: Be part of new product introduction and see how a suite is developed from an idea to a fully certified product. Represent purchasing within a dynamic project team. Supplier Performance: Visit suppliers and understand the complexities of a global supply network. Understand what world class supplier performance means and be part of a team that delivers it. What’s on offer? A Bachelor’s Degree with a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or Business subjects. Based in Bristol or the South-Wales areas, or willing to re-locate to the local area.
