We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temporary basis. Summary of the Stores Person role Salary: GBP28,000 – GBP35,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Temporary 6 months Hours: Monday Friday full time Responsibilities of the Stores Person Manage day–to–day running of the storesReceive, check and book in deliveriesPick, issue and record parts and materialsCarry out regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate recordsMonitor and replenish stockAssist with planning and coordinating materials for larger installation projectsEnsure hazardous materials are stored and handled safely in line with COSHH and DSEAR requirementsMaintain compliance records and produce stock and usage reports Requirements for a successful Stores Person Previous experience in stores, warehousing or stock controlGood working knowledge of COSHH and DSEAR regulationsStrong organisation skills with excellent attention to detailConfident managing stock records and balancing multiple prioritiesPractical and proactive and able to work well as a team About Allstaff Recruitment We re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
