Inventory Clerk

Join our Coventry DHL Fulfilment Network team as an Inventory Clerk and be the driving force behind stock accuracy. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

A typical day may involve:

• Progress orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate recording of stock movements and inventory transactions
• Assist the warehouse operation by creating scheduled stock movements, Inter depot transfers etc.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies using WMS data and physical inventory checks, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy and minimizing adjustments
• Assist the receiving department. New line set up's, to ensure stock is received on to site accurately and on time
• Perform regular cycle counting in accordance with the counting schedule
• Maintain accurate stock records and operational documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures and audit requirements
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, building positive relationships while handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments to drive operational efficiencies, share best practices, and support business objectives

This role would suit people who:

• Previous Inventory/Stock experience, with the ability to accurately process orders and stock movements is essential
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies through system analysis and physical inventory checks, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong administrative capabilities, including maintaining accurate records and stock files
• Communications skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills
