Trainee Environmental Operative

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm

Our client is looking for a motivated Trainee Environmental Operative to join their friendly and supportive team based in Caterham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in environmental services, with full training provided and the chance to learn specialist skills across a variety of projects.

• Assist with tank works, confined space works, groundworks, land remediation and civil works.

• Work across a variety of sites, including projects in London and throughout the UK.

• Operate company vehicles and equipment where suitably qualified.

• Follow all health and safety procedures and company regulations.

• Work alongside experienced operatives, developing practical skills and specialist knowledge.

• Travel to different sites and stay away overnight when required.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, practical work.

• A positive, professional and approachable attitude with a willingness to learn.

• Flexible approach to working hours, travel and occasional overnight stays.

• Ability to commute to the Caterham base daily when required.

• CSCS card desirable but not essential.

• Any relevant construction, engineering or environmental qualifications would be beneficial, but training will be provided.

• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

• £30,000-£35,000 salary, depending on experience.
