Care Manager – 45,000 per annum Location: Plymouth, Devon Salary: 45,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full–Time Are you an experienced Care Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a care service and make a genuine difference? This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially aware Care Manager to take responsibility for the operational performance, quality and continued growth of the service. The Role As Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the service operates effectively, meets CQC standards and consistently delivers exceptional levels of care. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the day–to–day operations of the care service. Ensuring excellent standards of care, safeguarding and CQC compliance. Leading, supporting and developing a dedicated team of care professionals. Identifying opportunities for service growth and new business development. Building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, clients and families. Monitoring service performance, staffing, budgets and care quality. Promoting a positive, person–centred culture focused on continuous improvement. About You We are particularly interested in candidates who have: Proven experience in care management, ideally within domiciliary care or homecare services. Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards. NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management, or a willingness to work towards it. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Experience managing care teams and delivering high–quality services. Commercial awareness and the ability to support business growth.
