This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled electrician to work on-site with a leading civil engineering contractor in their plant division. 

You will be responsible for both maintaining and installing equipment used by clients in the civils sector, located at their manufacturing and maintenance facility.

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Performing routine maintenance on a variety of hire equipment – including conducting in-house testing, executing repairs, constructing new and updated machinery, and providing occasional on-site support.
• Undertaking upkeep of company facilities, encompassing workshops and office spaces.
• Implementing scheduled preventative maintenance programs for plant and equipment to prevent downtime.
• Providing prompt and efficient reactive maintenance and repair work as necessary.
• Managing the installation processes for plant equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• MUST have relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years
• Hold 18th Edition (ESSENTIAL)
• ECS Gold Card – maintenance/installation OR experience in machinery maintenance and motor control systems (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Health and Safety knowledge and experience
• Proficient in managing 3-phase systems and various motor controls – star-delta starters, soft starters, and inverters
