Interim GP Surveyor - Part Time
18 Hours Per Week | Predominantly Remote
- Contract: 3-month rolling
- Hours: 18 hours per week
- Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience and market rates
- Working Pattern: Predominantly remote, with occasional office attendance and site visits (typically 1-2 times per month)
Are you an experienced Estates Surveyor looking for a flexible, part-time interim opportunity?
I'm currently working with a Local Authority seeking an Interim Estates Surveyor to provide additional support across its Property and Estates team.
This is a varied General Practice role, with a particular focus on property disposals, alongside wider commercial property and landlord and tenant matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and progressing property disposals, including surplus assets and general disposal activity.
- Supporting the day-to-day management of a varied property portfolio.
- Handling landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews and lease negotiations.
- Preparing property reports, disposal recommendations and supporting documentation.
- Undertaking property inspections and site visits as required.
- Liaising with legal teams, external agents, tenants and internal stakeholders to progress transactions.
- Providing professional estates and asset management advice.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous General Practice Estates Surveying experience, ideally within a Local Authority.
- Strong understanding of commercial property and landlord and tenant matters.
- Experience managing or supporting property disposals.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload remotely.
- MRICS desirable, although relevant experience will be considered.
