Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - 3 shift pattern

KL Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading international manufacturer of precision-engineered components and systems for critical applications. With a strong global presence and a reputation for excellence, our client supplies high-quality products to the petrochemical market, ensuring rapid lead times and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and mechanical compliance across the site. This role will involve installations, maintenance, and responding to breakdowns while ensuring the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work safely in line with company safety standards and procedures, ensuring risk assessments are completed before any task.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns & faults, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance is carried out efficiently.
- Carry out electrical installations as required.
- Use appropriate data and systems to manage the site’s electrical and control systems.
- Liaise with and assist in managing third-party contractors.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance.
- Knowledge of plant control systems, including PLC and control systems (preferred).
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Enthusiastic, computer literate, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
