CAD Engineer - Pipework

KL Talent is proud to represent a privately owned leading supplier of Pipe Flanges and Fittings. Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join their team.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with AutoCAD on pipework-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed AutoCAD fabrication drawings and general arrangement drawings for client approval.
- Compile production/manufacturing instructions and bill of materials.
- Adhere to the Technical Department processes and procedures within the clients Quality Management System.
- Assist clients in detailing pipework systems to meet their specific requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including the Technical Director, Purchasing Manager, and Production Controller, to ensure accurate pipework detailing and delivery scheduling.
- Make informed decisions on best detailing practices for client requests.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their goals and provide tailored technical solutions.
- Review product detailing for quality and performance, ensuring compliance with standards and client specifications.
- Ensure that product designs submitted by clients are safe and adhere to relevant legislation and industry regulations.
