Customer Service Representative – Bolton – £26,000 – £28,000 + Benefits

Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a well-established organisation who are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Bolton. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Process customer sales orders accurately and within agreed order cut-off times
• Handle complex customer queries and complaints via telephone, email and other communication channels
• Manage orders of varying complexity, including export documentation and certifications
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a key liaison between customers, sales and internal departments
• Support and coach new Customer Service team members, including system training and identifying further development needs
• Work closely with departments including Sales, Warehouse, Shipping and Production to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Contribute to key business projects including new product launches, customer onboarding, system improvements and process enhancements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Customer Service experience, ideally within a fast-paced commercial or manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex customer queries
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using an ERP system such as Sage, SAP or Oracle
• A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues across the wider business
• Experience with export orders/documentation would be advantageous
