About the role
Graduate Leadership Programme in Field Sales and Marketing The Company: A global leader in cordless technology, boasting a portfolio of well-known DIY brands, with worldwide sales exceeding $14bn and well over 40,000 staff worldwide. The Role: Rotating for 18-24 months across different sales product areas, you will be the face of the brand for your region Purely field-based sales and marketing role handling around 120 existing customer accounts (no cold calling!) Building and nurturing relationships, creating sales strategies and maximising the financial performance of your region Educating retailers and end users on new products and promotions Implementing visual merchandising and in-store promotions Supporting trade events around the UK and in Europe Why Apply? Pays £28K+ bonus + company vehicle + gym subsidies Extensive training in year one on product management, presentation skills and sales and marketing techniques An entry-level role in their graduate leadership programme Product training in Germany and a chance to attend the annual conference (the last three were in Monaco, Stockholm and Barcelona) Progression within 18-24 months with flexible routes on offer and a salary jump to £32K+ Requirements: Confident, influential relationship builders – some sales or commercial experience would be advantageous Full UK driving licence (including manual) and willing to drive in the UK Can attend recruitment event in Buckinghamshire across 12th & 13th May (with expenses paid including hotel stay) Able to start in this role on 1st June or 6th July Locations East Anglia (ideal home base Ipswich or Colchester) Home Countries North (ideal home base Cambridge or Hertford) Northern Ireland (ideal home base Belfast) Scotland (ideal home base Edinburgh)
