About the role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support children with special educational needs and disabilities, including pupils with complex
and high levels of need.
• Work 1:1 and with small groups, helping children access learning and make progress.
• Support children with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs.
• Help children develop their independence, confidence and social skills.
• Follow individual EHCP outcomes, support plans, healthcare plans and risk assessments.
• Provide personal care, physical or medical support where required and appropriately trained.

• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, families and other professionals.
• Most importantly, help every child to feel safe, included and successful at school.
Could you be the person who helps a child find their voice, build their confidence and achieve something they couldn't do yesterday?
We're looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join Hollyfast.
You'll work closely with children with a range of additional and complex needs — supporting their learning, communication, regulation, independence and wellbeing.
