We are currently supporting a school in Southwark, who we have had a strong relationship with for many years in recruiting a Sports Coach to join their amazing team. They are looking to secure a strong, qualified, Sports with SEMH, ADHD and Autism experience to work in an inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities

• The SEN Teaching Assistant Special Needs Autism recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
• The SEN Teaching Assistant Special Needs Autism appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
• Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
• Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
