CNC Turner Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Up to GBP20 an hour Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Rota: Mon–Fri DAYS ONLY The Role CNC Turner We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well–established precision engineering business supplying a range of highly regulated and technically demanding industries. This is a hands–on role requiring an individual who can independently programme, set and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality, productivity and on–time delivery whilst contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop. A strong background in CNC turning is essential, along with proven CNC programming experience. Key Responsibilities CNC Turner Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines.Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings and specifications.Carry out machine set–ups and prove out new jobs.Ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.Perform in–process inspection using measuring equipment.Minimise scrap and maximise material utilisation.Complete all production and quality documentation accurately.Requirements CNC Turner Essential: Previous CNC Turning experience.Essential: Ability to programme CNC turning machines.Essential: Ability to set and operate CNC lathesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience working to tight tolerances.Strong understanding of quality procedures and inspection techniques.If you like the look of this CNC Turner position, then click and apply or contact us for further information.
