Part Time Weekend Nanny R1733

Role Overview
A family new to MTW are looking for an experienced, warm, and reliable nanny to provide regular childcare for their 14-month-old son at their family home in the Cotswolds. This is a long-term, flexible position to complement their full-time nanny, who is based in Sussex. They are hoping to find someone local who is looking for regular part-time work and would enjoy becoming a familiar and trusted part of their son’s life.
Typical Commitment
• Approximately two weekends per month.
• Typically, the role will involve a half-day on both Saturday and Sunday.
• Their son currently naps from around 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, so shifts will usually be either 8:00
am–1:00 pm or 3:00 pm–8:00 pm.
• Occasionally, there may also be a requirement for childcare on a Friday or Monday when they
extend a weekend stay.
• Hours will be agreed in advance and are flexible, with plenty of notice wherever possible.
• This is intended to be a regular, ongoing role, providing continuity of care alongside their full-time
nanny.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, loving care for their 14-month-old son.
• Engage him in age-appropriate play and developmental activities.
• Prepare snacks or meals as required and follow his usual routines.
• Manage naps where appropriate.
• Ensure his safety, wellbeing, and happiness at all times.
• Work closely with the parents and their full-time nanny to provide consistent care.

• Experienced caring for babies and toddlers.
• Warm, calm, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Happy working independently while following an established routine.
• Driver with your own transport preferred due to the rural location.
