Temporary September Live In Nanny required in Chichester, West Sussex R1926 *POSITION FILLED*

A temp Nanny is required for this delightful family, mum has a medical condition which means she will need support for children during this time due to dad being away for work. You are not mum’s carer but ability to show empathy and understanding during flare ups would be desirable. There is a girl aged 9 years and boy aged 7 years old along with a cat in the family home.

**Driver required**

The boy loves Lego, playing games and engineering and the girl enjoys reading, horses and science. No allergies and they are both used to having some childcare when required.

Duties

School drop off and pick ups (morning and afternoons)

Entertaining and caring for both children

Some housekeeping (light) duties to maintain the home

Some nursery duties

There will be cooking but mum likes to cook mainly.

Hours and Days

Sunday to Friday. Sunday start time is 5pm for the rest of the week please see below.

There is flexibility on these but the core hours ideally will be 6am to 12pm and 3pm to 7.30pm. There is an option for more hours during the day if the nanny would like to work them and an earlier finish time on the Friday.

Start Date

Sunday 6th September to Friday 11th September 2026

Accommodation

Own bedroom and shared bathroom (with the children only).

Salary

£17 per hour gross – this is negotiable for the right candidate

Additional Information

Driver with own car required – work mileage is paid at 0.55p per mile.

Some sole charge and shared care (mum will be in the house)

Pet friendly as there is a cat in the family home

Live in required

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
