Morning Nanny required for 10 week old girl, based in Basingstoke. R1931

This delightful family are looking for support caring for a little girl aged 10 weeks old (at time of job starting). Mum will be in the home but will be resting and so it will be mainly sole charge. This is an ongoing temporary position and will be for at least four months.

Duties

Supporting mum

Care for the baby, settling, feeding, changing and helping with a routine.

Hours and Days

Tuesdays and Thursday 8am to midday. There is some flexibility on days but not a Friday.

Start Date

14th September 2026 – or as soon as possible after that date.

Salary

£20 – £25 per hour gross – depending on experience.

Pet friendly as there are two cats in the home

Sole charge

Ongoing temporary role (minimum of 4 months).

Non driver welcome to apply but must be able to commute to the family home.

Some baby experience is essential.

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
