Pay: GBP12.71–GBP14.05 per hour Job Description: Pay: GBP12.71 per hour Job Description: Production Operatives Ashton–in–Makerfield Major Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry–leading client based in Ashton in Makerfield, Wigan WN4. Due to continued growth and increased customer demand, we are looking for multiple Production Operatives to join a busy, fast paced manufacturing team on a temporary ongoing basis. The Role As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, packed, and prepared to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Packing finished products ready for dispatch Labelling products accurately and efficiently Preparing raw materials for the production process Palletising finished goods safely and securely Operating production machinery following full training Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area Following all health and safety procedures at all times Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic Good attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced production environment Reliability and excellent timekeeping Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training Previous production experience is essential Working Hours Rotating weekly shifts (Monday to Friday): [phone removed] hours per week Overtime available based on business requirements Pay rate: GBP12.71 per hour Overtime is paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday and double time up to 10pm on a Sunday.
