Site Engineer
Location: Devonport (Plymouth) | Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum | Sector: Site Engineering
The Role
The successful candidate will join a prominent civil engineering contractor, contributing to a significant infrastructure project. You will be an integral part of a skilled project team, ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering tasks on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed setting out for construction activities
- Establish and uphold survey control throughout the site
- Oversee work to guarantee compliance with design specifications
- Assist with machine control and verify operational precision
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers
- Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation and reports
- Conduct site inspections and assessments
- Support the implementation of health and safety protocols
Requirements
- A valid CSCS card
- Experience in surveying or site engineering roles
- Proven track record on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and site control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
