Factory Labourer, Selby

Due to continuous growth, the UK’s leading bottle manufacturing businesses within the heart of Selby have an exciting role available for a Factory Labourer to join their team on a temp to permanent basis.

As a Factory Labourer you will be working on the production line, feeding products into the line, packing glass bottles, putting packed orders onto pallets, polishing and quality checking glass bottles and other production duties as required.

Please note: you must have own method of transport due to location of role

• Monday to Friday
• 7am-5pm

• £12.71 per hour
• £603 per week before deductions
• Overtime after 48 hours paid at time and a quarter

• Working for a highly established business
• Immediate starts available
• Permanent contract guaranteed after 12 weeks
• Guaranteed full-time hours
• No weekends

• Working on the production line packing glass bottles into bubble wrap sleeves, once packed putting orders onto a pallet ready for despatch
• Polishing and quality checking of freshly printed and sprayed glass bottles manually
• Manual handling of fragile products and movement of pallets using a pallet truck
• Working on the end of the lines making up boxes
• Picking bottles of the end of the line
• Putting bottles onto pegs
• Feeding production lines with glass bottles to ensure bottle sprayers and printing operatives have enough material
• Ensuring health and safety policies are being followed at all times

• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Willing to learn new skills
• Excellent time keeping and attendance
• Must have own method of transport due to location of role
• You must be reliable and have good timekeeping
• Excellent eye for detail and quality
