Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Description
Welsh-Speaking Primary School Teacher opportunity in Caerphilly County Borough. This is a rewarding role within a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school, where you’ll help pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally. You’ll join a supportive team committed to high-quality teaching and the Welsh language.
Key Responsibilities
As a Welsh-Speaking Primary School Teacher, your daily duties will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that support progress for all learners
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture with strong behaviour and wellbeing support
Assessing learning, providing feedback, and working collaboratively with colleagues and families
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Welsh-Speaking Primary School Teacher, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
Recent classroom experience in a primary setting (including placements)
Enhanced DBS Check and right to work in the UK (or willingness to apply)
