Serious Injury Lawyer

Personal Injury Lawyer sort for a successful Birmingham based law firm.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled lawyer to join a supportive Birmingham team handling catastrophic and fatal injury cases, including serious orthopaedic, brain, spinal, amputee, and fatal injuries.

You will have the chance to manage cases up to £100k independently and assist on higher-value cases, some exceeding £1 million. This role offers the autonomy to make real decisions while gaining experience alongside experienced colleagues.

The Role

• Manage higher-value personal injury cases
• Focus on early intervention and client rehabilitation
• Maintain excellent client communication
• Progress cases efficiently and meet court deadlines
• Assess damages and work towards effective settlements
• Keep up to date with legal and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive (2–10 years PQE) with experience in serious injury cases.
• Ability to handle cases up to £100k independently and assist on higher value cases.
• Strong client care and communication skills, with a focus on early intervention and rehabilitation.
• Litigation experience, including meeting court deadlines and managing limitations periods.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
