Electrical Engineer - Senior

Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role is based in Glasgow, Perth, or Aberdeen, with a requirement to be present in the Glasgow office once per week. The contract is for a duration of 6 months. Key Responsibilities Deliver front-end electrical engineering design works. Develop electrical contract documentation including management and preparation of substation and electrical balance of plant contracts and Works Information. Write, review and update technical specifications for substation and electrical balance of plant equipment. Review external contractor's design documentation to ensure client requirements are met. Attend Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Tests of major substation components to ensure adequate testing has been achieved. About You Experience in offshore wind electrical design. Proven experience in substation layout design, primary equipment specifications, and testing up to 400kV. Good technical knowledge and experience of renewable electricity generation or transmission. A strong working knowledge of engineering legislation and industry good practice relevant to substation designs, primary plant, and protection.
