About the role
This role is perfect for candidates with relevant experience in order picking within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires physical stamina as it involves demanding manual work, you will be responsible for accurately picking products using a voice headset and operating a low level order picker (LLOP).
Pay Rate: £14.58 Benefits: Paid breaks + on-site parking + free fruit and hot drinks on site Job Type: Temp ongoing Location: Goldthorpe, S63Hours: 09:30 start until finish (finish time subject to change, shifts can be roughly between 8-10 hours) Monthly 5/7 rota, so must be flexible to work weekends
The Role:
- Achieving daily pick rates/KPI's
- Voice picking using a headset
- Driving/operating a LLOP (low level order picker)
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
- Very physically demanding.
- Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
Requirements:
- Previous order picking experience
- Must live locally or have own means of transport due to shift times
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Reliable and punctual attitude
- Available to work 5 days a week, including weekends
